Based on the coordinates for building Beijing as an international consumption center, the 2026 Autumn-Winter Beijing Fashion Week kicked off on March 17th at the Changda Center. This season's fashion week is themed "Initiating a New Chapter", with the core being Chinese contemporary culture. Over the next week, it will collaborate with landmarks such as the Changda Center, Aoya Guanchen Exhibition Center, Dayan Park, and Wanli Park, presenting over 120 fashion events. The number of new product launch events has increased by 75% compared to the previous year.

This season's fashion week is centered around the concept of "national trend culture", awakening the contemporary expression of traditional craftsmanship within modern design language. The opening show was presented by Shangze International, in collaboration with its brands "Liuli" and "Zhu Ziyu", under the theme of "Two Chapters of Elegant Attire". 80 sets of elegant attires were showcased through the captivating performances of the models, embarking on a journey of tracing the origins and innovative expression of the beauty of Chinese attire.
During the fashion week, the national trend brand matrix including Huyufang, Longmanchen AM/JASMINE, Xi Ji, J BY HO Hao Jia, Gu Aixin "Xian Lan" and others will make a concentrated appearance. Brands such as Langzi, Giffen, Jinggong 1961, PURE TOUCH and other designers will also successively release new collections, jointly presenting the contemporary interpretation and cultural inheritance of Eastern aesthetics.
It is worth noting that this season's youth designer support program brings together 20 emerging designers from top institutions such as Tsinghua University of Fine Arts, London University of the Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, and University of California. Through various forms such as fashion shows, theme salons and exhibitions, it showcases the rich features and future potential of national trend innovation.
While deeply exploring Eastern aesthetics, this season's Beijing Fashion Week also invites brands and designers from countries and regions such as China, France, Italy, the United States, Germany, and Singapore to participate. Multiple fashion release events will also help brands open their first stores in Beijing and promote the "launch economy" to take root and develop.

This season, the Beijing Fashion Week actively constructed a fashion ecosystem that deeply integrated culture, commerce, tourism, and sports. The main venue of the Zhengda Center gathered renowned domestic and international brands and designers for their debut shows; the Aoyaguanchen sub-venue focused on the innovative vitality of Chinese trends; the 19th "Spring Equinox - Chaoyang" Cultural Festival - the 3rd Beijing Chaoyang Garden Festival and the "Fashion Beijing - Love and Graceful Beauty" 2026 China Fashion Overseas Season Opening Ceremony were launched at Ritan Park; in collaboration with the Chaoyang District Publicity Department, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, and Wanji Business District, the "Fashion Beijing - Spring Wind Enters Wanji - AW2026 Beijing Fashion Week - Canal Fashion Show" series of activities were created, integrating commercial landmarks and cultural tourism scenarios.

In order to complete the entire chain of transformation from the fashion show to the market, during this season's fashion week, multiple brands held simultaneous professional buyer ordering events; the China Fashion Overseas Season series of activities will attract professional merchants from "Belt and Road" countries and overseas buyers to attend, fully activating the cross-border procurement function of Yaobao Road commercial district. The Fashion Delight Festival has been extended to mid-May, and in collaboration with over 50 commercial complexes in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, new product launches and preferential promotions will be successively launched, achieving the effective implementation of "showing the fashion right after the show". The official exhibition also created a Hi Fashion mobile station fashion lifestyle theme exhibition in Huijing Twin Towers, specially setting up a "Olympic Culture • Fashion Coexistence" theme exhibition area, showcasing representative uniforms of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, as well as rare items of the dual-Olympic culture, connecting Beijing and Milan.
